My father (in his 80's) was referred to Dr. Brown at Dadeland Oral Surgery during a dental appointment. We called Dr. Brown's office directly from the dentist, and his office worked to fit him in. The situation was not typical. My children and I have had extensive genetic testing at NIH. Aside from the results, I was also provide information that relates to my parent's health. While my father has never had problems with dental work in the past, the potential for life threatening complications exist. There are certain precautions that need to be followed prior to medical and dental procedures. From my own experiences, and advocacy work, I know that most doctors, dentist, and oral surgeons, have never seen or treated patients with this disease, so I always bring relevant medical information from medical sources. From the start, Dr. Brown was willing to listen, accepted the information, expressed he wanted to do some research, openly discussed the safety aspects and potential problems, and took the necessary steps to make sure my father was safe and medically prepared for the procedure. Most importantly, Dr. Brown was honest, upfront and straightforward. Dr. Brown was cautious, careful, and prepared. Dr. Brown even took the time after hours to call and review everything prior to the procedure. Needless to say, the procedure went well and Dr. Brown did a wonderful job. I have a lifetime of experience with multiple specialist, including dentists and oral surgeons, worldwide, and know how rare it is to find an exceptional doctor. Dr. Brown is on my exceptional list. Dr. Brown's office and staff were just as terrific. They functioned the way you wish every office would function: professional, efficient, helpful, and friendly. From what I experienced and witnessed, each employee, the receptionist at the desk, the dental techs, the billing person, and other office staff, treated each patient as if he/she was the priority. Dr. Brown's office always responded within a timely manner, called with reminders, called to see how my dad was doing, and made the entire experience easy, pleasant and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Brown and Dadeland Oral Surgery.

Everything about my experience here has been so wonderful and professional. Front Desk, Mercy is a ray of sunshine and is eager to help you. Dr. Brown’s medical assistants are caring and get the show moving. Lastly, Dr. Brown himself knows what he’s doing! I chose to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted here exactly 2 weeks ago and i don’t regret a thing. They are healing up quite nicely and i haven’t had any pain, dry sockets or complications during recovery. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend my family and friends here.
