Introduction

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires at minimum four years of additional  residency  that is  hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Brown or Dr. Tamayo manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Drs. Brown or Tamayo practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an emphasis on dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our office can also diagnose and treat oral pathology, facial infections and dental pain.

Our staff is trained in assisting with deep Intravenous (I.V.) sedation and all surgical procedures completed in our office setting. Patients that undergo I.V. sedation are continuously monitored during and after the procedure  and will be escorted with a staff member to the vehicle of  the responsible adult driver upon discharge .

Surgical/Administrative Staff

The surgical staff at Dadeland Oral Surgery are experienced and CPR certified surgical assistants, who assist during the administration of IV sedation and surgery. Our administrative staff are well informed personnel, well versed in dental and medical insurance policies, and are CPR certified as well. Our entire staff will strive to make your experience at our office as comfortable and efficient as possible.
